Requirements:
The Dental Assistant Program Director must hold, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, the program director must possess: (1) current licenses, certifications, or other designations required by local, state, or federal law to work in the field; (2) Active Certified Dental Assistant credential; (3) Graduation from a program in the Dental Assistant field or in a closely related field, accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or an otherwise recognized training entity in the specialty field; (3) Minimum of three years of occupational experience in the subject field or in a closely related field; and (4) Previous teaching experience.
Director of Financial Aid | Location: Staten Island, NY
This position will be an opportunity for you to lead the School’s financial aid operations whose services to our nursing students are essential to the School’s ability to succeed in fulfilling its educational mission. Our financial aid programs and services are designed to supplement the financial resources of our students and thus enable each of our students to achieve his/her educational & career goals.As the Director of Financial Aid (DFA), you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of our financial aid programs and services. As DFA, you will report to the Staten Island Campus Director and actively participate as a member of the School’s management team. You will be responsible for administering federal, state and institutional programs of financial assistance, determining aid eligibility, processing student financial aid and maintaining compliance with all governmental and agency funding requirements.
